- 6 green bell peppers
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 c. cooked rice
- 1 (8 oz.) tomato sauce
- 1 (8 oz.) tomato paste
- 1 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. pepper
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. hot sauce
- 1/2 tsp. sage
- 1 c. chopped onion
Directions

1In skillet, brown ground beef; drain off drippings.

2Add onions, salt, pepper and sage; cook thoroughly.

3In small bowl, mix hot sauce, tomato sauce and tomato paste with 1 cup water. Add half of sauce mixture to ground beef; cook slowly.

4Add rice. Cut out (from the top) bell pepper and wash thoroughly.

5With a spoon, stuff green pepper with mixture, letting overflow just a little.

6Bake at 350° in oven for 30 minutes.

7Serves 6.
