Ingredients

  • 1 (20 to 24 oz.) can pork and beans
  • 1 (16 oz.) can green beans, drained
  • 1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans, drained
  • 1 lb. bacon, cut into 1-inch strips (can be 1/2 lb.)
  • 1 large onion, minced
  • 1 small can tomato sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. mustard
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

Directions

    Combine mustard, brown sugar, vinegar, salt and pepper.

    Fry bacon; drain on paper towel.

    Saut onion in bacon grease.

    Drain all but 1 tablespoon grease; add beans, sauce and brown sugar mixture, salt and pepper.

    Add bacon bits and bake in 9 x 11 pan for 30 minutes at 325°.
