Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. green beans (string beans)
  • 1 1/2 c. wax beans
  • 1 1/2 c. kidney or pinto beans
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. vinegar
  • 1 c. vegetable oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 c. onion, sliced thin
  • 1 c. green bell pepper, sliced thin
  • 1 1/2 c. diced celery
  • 1/2 can or small jar pimientos, chopped
  • 1 c. diced or thin sliced carrots

    Rinse and drain all beans.

    Mix vegetables in large plastic container.

    Add salt and pepper.

    Mix remaining ingredients thoroughly and pour over vegetables.

    Do not stir.

    Put tight lid on container and toss occasionally.

    Refrigerate.
