Three-Minute Fudge

Ingredients

  • 2/3 c. evaporated milk
  • 1 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. small marshmallows or 16 large marshmallows
  • 1 1/2 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips (about 1 1/2 c.)
  • 1/2 c. nuts, chopped

Directions

    Butter square pan (9 x 9 x 2-inch).

    Mix milk, sugar and salt in 2-quart saucepan.

    Heat to boiling over medium heat, stirring constantly.

    Remove from heat.

    Stir in marshmallows, chocolate chips, vanilla and nuts until melted.

    Pour into pan.

    Refrigerate until firm (at least 1 hour).

    Cut into 1 1/2-inch squares. Yields 3 dozen candies.
