- 1 lb fresh asparagus, washed and ends trimmed
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon coarse salt
- 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
Directions

1Preheat oven to 425.

2Drizzle asparagus w/ olive oil and toss to coat.

3Place in a single layer in a shallow baking dish. Sprinkle with thyme, garlic, salt and pepper.

4Roast for about 15 minutes or until asparagus is to desired tenderness.
