- 2 salmon fillets
- 2 cups wood chips (Hickory works nicely)
- 1 bunch thyme
- 1 bunch sage
- 1 bunch basil

1To make your smoker you will need.

21 Large tin cookie can.

31 Piece chicken wire.

4To prepare your smoker, take the lid and punch 6 small holes.

5Layer the bottom with your wood chips.

6Then spread the thyme, sage, and basil on the chips.

7Put in your piece of chicken wire.

8Take your salmon fillets and place on the chicken wire being sure to avoid touching the edges.

9Put the top on and place your loaded tin can directly on the stove top at medium-high heat for 5 minutes.

10Check the salmon with a knife to make sure it is fully cooked, continue cooking until no longer translucent.
