Toasted almonds

  • 1 bag peeled almonds
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 pinches maldon salt (generous)

Directions

    Heat the oil in a pan and get the almonds ready

    When the oil is hot, add the almonds and turn the heat down to minimum
  3. 3
    As the almonds brown, keep moving all the time - this is really important to prevent burning
  4. 4
    When they are browned, drain off all the oil and then transfer to a bowl lined with kitchen paper.

    Add salt.

    Transfer to a serving dish and resign yourself to the fact that in less than 30 minutes, there will be no trace of almonds ever having being made in your house :-)
