Toasted Cheese Rolls

Ingredients

  • 8 slices white bread
  • butter
  • 1/2 c. grated Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/2 c. grated Provolone cheese
  • 1/4 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/4 tsp. thyme

Directions

    Trim crusts from bread.

    Spread with butter.

    Mix cheeses, mayonnaise and thyme.

    Spread on buttered bread and carefully roll up.

    Place, seam side down, in shallow baking pan.

    Melt 1/4 cup butter and spoon over rolls.

    Bake in 450° oven 6 minutes or until toasted.

    Cut each roll into 2 pieces.

    Serve hot.
