  • 1 c. chopped roasted almonds
  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/3 c. brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 6 oz. chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans

Directions

    Mix butter, sugars and water.

    Bring to a boil (stir constantly) until forms hard crack.

    Remove from heat; add soda (work fast).

    Add almonds, pour onto greased cookie sheet.

    Cool 5 minutes.

    Sprinkle chocolate chips.

    As they melt, spread over candy; sprinkle with pecans.
