- 1 1/2 c. margarine
- 1 1/3 c. syrup
- 1 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 4 oz. semi-sweet chocolate
- 1/2 c. nuts
Directions

1Melt margarine; add sugar.

2Cook until sugar is dissolved, stirring constantly.

3Then cook without stirring to 290°, hard crack.

4Remove from heat and stir in 1 1/2 cups nuts.

5Do not overmix.

6When slightly cooled, melt semi-sweet chocolate and 1/2 cup chopped nuts.

7Spread over top, then sprinkle on remainder of nuts.

8Break into pieces when cool.
