- 1 c. butter (1/2 lb.)
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 c. flour
- 1 (6 oz.) Nestle or Hershey bar
- 2/3 c. crushed walnuts (crush in blender)
Directions

1Cream butter, sugar and egg yolk.

2Add flour gradually. Spread dough in greased 9 x 7-inch Pyrex dish.

3Bake at 350° until medium brown and dough seems set, but not brown on edges, about 15 to 20 minutes.

4Take out of oven.

5Place chocolate squares on dough.

6They will melt.

7After they have melted, spread out chocolate.

8Sprinkle nuts on top.

9Cool and cut into bars. Refrigerate leftovers.
