- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. margarine
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 (4 oz.) bar milk chocolate candy
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Mix the brown sugar, margarine, egg yolk and vanilla.

3Stir in the flour and salt.

4Press in greased oblong pan (9 x 13 x 2-inches).

5Bake until light brown, 25 to 30 minutes. Place separated pieces of chocolate candy on crust.

6Let stand until soft, spread evenly.

7Sprinkle with nuts.

8Cut into bars about 2 x 1/2-inches while warm.
