  • 1 lb. butter (must use butter)
  • 2 to 4 c. mixed nuts (optional)
  • 1 c. light corn syrup
  • 2 2/3 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 to 5 qt. popped popcorn

    Mix together

    butter, sugar and syrup.

    Cook to 305° or hard crack.

    2 teaspoons vanilla extract.

    Pour over 4 to 5 quarts popped

    popcorn.

    Add nuts and stir to cool.

    Spread on waxed paper and cool.
