- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. shredded coconut
- 1 c. walnuts
Directions

1Combine shortening and salt.

2Add 1/2 cup brown sugar and cream.

3Stir in flour.

4Spread evenly in greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 325° for 15 minutes.

5Beat eggs, add brown sugar and vanilla.

6Beat well.

7Add remaining ingredients and stir until well blended.

8Spread on baked mixture.

9Bake at 325° for 25 minutes.

10Cool slightly and cut into squares.
