- 3/4 pound tomatillos,* husks removed, rinsed, quartered (about 3 cups)
- 1/2 cup coarsely chopped unpeeled green apple (such as Granny Smith)
- 2 tablespoons coarsely chopped fresh basil
- 2 tablespoons coarsely chopped fresh mint
