  • 1 loaf French Baguette, Sliced Into 1/4 Inch Thick Slices
  • 1/4 cups Olive Oil
  • Sea Salt And Ground Pepper, To Taste
  • 8 ounces, weight Plain Cream Cheese
  • 1- 1/2 cup Sliced Grape Tomatoes
  • 1/2 cups Chopped Fresh Basil
  • Balsamic Vinegar, For Drizzling (optional)

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

    Slice baguette slices and place on a baking sheet.

    Brush olive oil on both sides of baguette slices and sprinkle with sea salt and ground black pepper.

    Bake for 1520 minutes or until golden brown.

    Remove from oven and allow to cool to room temperature.

    Once baguette slices have cooled, spread cream cheese on top of each baguette slice.

    Top with slices of grape tomatoes and garnish with fresh chopped basil.

    If desired, drizzle with more olive oil or balsamic vinegar (optional).
