  • 1 large ripe tomato, cut up
  • 3 Tbsp. frying drippings or oil
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. water, milk or broth

Directions

    Combine flour, pepper and salt in jar; shake until well combined.

    Stir into drippings/oil in skillet.

    Stir in liquid; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened and bubbly.

    Add cut up tomato.

    Cook and stir another 2 minutes.

    If necessary, may be thinned with additional liquid.
