  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. tomato puree
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 c. bread cubes, crust removed
  • 1/2 c. butter, melted

Directions

    Combine brown sugar, tomato puree and water.

    Cook 5 minutes. While tomato mixture is cooking, put bread cubes in casserole and pour melted butter over them.

    Pour on hot tomato mixture.

    Do not stir.

    Bake 50 minutes in 325° oven.
