Tomato Pudding

  • 6 to 8 leftover biscuits
  • 1 qt. tomatoes (canned)
  • 1 1/2 to 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • black pepper

Directions

    Split the biscuits in half and butter each half.

    Place a layer of biscuits on bottom of a large baking dish.

    Add tomatoes and sprinkle with salt, pepper and sugar.

    Add layers of biscuits, salt, pepper and sugar until all have been used.

    Finish with tomatoes.

    Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.
