  • 4 cup water
  • 1 tsp celery salt
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 29 oz crushed tomatoes
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground turmeric powder
  • 1 annatto powder
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 cup broken jasmine rice
  • 1 1/2 tbsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp sweet basil
  • 1 stick margarine

Directions

    Heat the margarine in a pot add rice fry rice till it turns white

    Add water and tomatoes

    Add spices

    Cook stirring often

    When the rice is erupting put cover on it turn off heat let rest undisturbed for 7 minutes
