- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 small onion
- 1/2 c. ground parsley
- 1/4 c. blanched slivered almonds
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. uncooked converted rice
- 6 to 8 fresh unpeeled medium tomatoes
- 4 quartered raw potatoes
Directions

1Cook meat, butter and onion until browned in saucepan or electric skillet.

2Add parsley, almonds, cinnamon, salt and sugar. Simmer 5 minutes.

3Add rice.

4Cook over low heat 5 minutes. Hollow out tomatoes, reserving pulp and juice.

5Fill with rice mixture.
