Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups chocolate wafer crumbs, divided
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 2 pkg (85 g each) Jell-O Orange Jelly Powder
  • 1 1/2 cups boiling water
  • 3/4 cup orange juice
  • ice cubes
  • 1 tub (1 L) thawed Cool Whip Whipped Topping
  • decorations: assorted rectangular-shaped cookies, writing gels, coloured coconut and candy

Directions

    MIX 2 cups (500 mL) of the wafer crumbs and melted butter; press firmly into bottom of a 13 X 9 inch (33 X 23 cm) pan.

    DISSOLVE jelly powder in boiling water.

    Combine orange juice and ice cubes to make 1 3/4 cups (425 mL).

    Add to jelly, stirring until ice is almost melted.

    Remove unmelted ice.

    Chill until slightly thickened, about 1 1/4 hours.

    TOP with whipped topping.

    SPRINKLE remaining 1/2 cup (125 mL) wafer crumbs over whipped topping.

    Decorate cookes with icings to make 'tombstones' and stand on top of dessert with coconut and candies to resemble a 'graveyard'.

    Cut into squares.
