- 100 g mung dal
- 100 g channa dal
- 1 pinch hing
- 100 g arhar dal
- 1 tejpatta (bay leaf)
- salt
- 1 piece ginger (1 inch)
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 2 green chilies
- 2 tablespoons ghee
- coriander
- 2 cardamoms (small)
- 2 lemons
- 1 teaspoon jeera powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
Directions

1Soak the dal in water for 1 hour.

2Put it in a pressure cooker.

3Add salt and turmeric powder.

4Wait for 2-3 whistles.

5Turn off the gas.

6Heat ghee in a kadahi.

7Add jeera, bay leaf, cardamoms, hing, garam masala, ginger and green chilly.

8Add dal.

9Put lemon juice and garam masala powder.

10Add chopped coriander.

11Serve hot with Potato Bharta.
