- 1 1/2 to 2 lb. tri-tip
- 1 onion, sliced in rings
- 2 tsp. grated lemon peel
- 1/2 c. salad oil
- 3 Tbsp. honey
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp. dried basil leaves
- 1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
Directions

1Place onion and beef tip in resealable plastic bag or glass dish.

2Combine remaining ingredients.

3Pour marinade over tri-tip beef mixture and place in refrigerator for 24 hours.

4Turn beef occasionally.

5Barbecue on medium heat until tri-tip is medium rare.
