Tuna Casserole

  • 3 c. (6 oz.) uncooked noodles or macaroni
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. chopped spinach or peas
  • 2 cans (6 1/2 oz. each) tuna fish, drained
  • 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Swiss or American cheese
  • 1 2/3 c. (13 fl. oz. can) evaporated milk
  • paprika
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 tsp. salt or seasoned salt

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Cook noodles as directed on package. Drain and arrange in ungreased 2-quart shallow casserole.

    Cook spinach as directed on package.

    Drain and arrange on noodles. Flake tuna and sprinkle over spinach; top with cheese.

    Combine milk, eggs and salt; beat well.

    Pour over casserole mixture. Sprinkle with paprika.

    Bake, uncovered, 30 to 40 minutes or until center is set.
