Tuna Casserole

  • 2 green peppers, diced
  • 3 stalks celery, diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1/2 pkg. elbow macaroni
  • 1/4 c. water
  • sprinkle garlic salt
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 large can tuna, drained
  • 1/2 lb. cheese, grated

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Cook macaroni and drain.

    Cook green peppers, celery and onion in oil and water for 5 minutes.

    Add soup and simmer 5 minutes longer.

    Mix soup mixture, noodles, tuna and 1/2 cheese and pour into greased casserole dish.

    Top with remaining cheese.

    Bake for 45 minutes.

    Cover with foil while baking.
