Tuna Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 c. noodles, broken
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 6 c. boiling water
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 c. grated Velveeta cheese
  • 1 small can tuna, flaked
  • 3 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
  • 1/2 c. cracker crumbs

Directions

    Boil water; add noodles and 1 teaspoon of salt.

    Cook 15 minutes until tender; drain.

    Blend 2 tablespoons of margarine with flour, 1 teaspoon of salt and pepper.

    Gradually stir in milk.

    Boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

    Remove from heat. Add noodles, cheese, tuna and eggs.

    Pour into greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch baking dish.

    Mix remaining margarine with cracker crumbs. Sprinkle over casserole.

    Bake 10 minutes at 375°.
