Tuna Fish Dip

Ingredients

  • onion 1 sm.
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley coarsely
  • 2 teaspoons tarragon leaf
  • 2 teaspoons vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon horseradish
  • clove garlic 1 sm.
  • 2 cans fish 6 1/2 oz. each tuna, drained
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 3/4 cups mayonnaise
  • 3 ounces cream cheese at room temp
  • 1/4 cup blue cheese at room temp
  • 1/4 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon curry powder or to taste
  • salt
  • freshly ground pepper to taste

Directions

    Cut onion into 4 pieces and put with parsley, tarragon, vinegar, horseradish, garlic, tuna fish and lemon juice into the food processor with steel blade.

    Process until mixed thoroughly.

    Spoon out into a 2 quart bowl.

    Add remaining ingredients to processor and process until smooth.

    Blend into tuna mixture in bowl.

    Add more curry powder and (or) salt and pepper to taste.

    Chill mixture overnight in refrigerator to thicken and blend flavors.

    Serve with assorted crackers.
