Tuna Spaghetti

  • 3 c. water
  • 8 oz. uncooked spaghetti
  • 1 can pasta-style chunky tomatoes
  • 1 can chick-peas, rinsed and drained
  • 1 (6 1/2 oz.) can chunk light tuna
  • 8 black ripe olives
  • 1 tsp. red pepper (optional)

Directions

    Bring water and tomatoes and chickpeas to a boil in a large deep nonstick skillet.

    Meanwhile, break spaghetti in thirds. Drain tuna and quarter olives.

    Stir spaghetti into skillet mixture.

    Cover and boil 12 minutes, stirring 3 or 4 times until pasta is firm-tender.

    Stir in tuna, olives and red pepper, if desired.

    Serves 4.
