Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c. raw (not thin) spaghetti or fettucini, broken in 2-inch pieces
  • 3 to 4 c. cooked ham, chicken or turkey
  • 1/2 c. diced canned pimento
  • 1/2 c. diced green pepper
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup (undiluted)
  • 1 3/4 c. turkey or chicken broth or water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 1/2 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese

Directions

    Cook spaghetti; drain and rinse well.

    Add rest of ingredients.

    Mix lightly with fork.

    Place in 3-quart casserole; add or sprinkle 1/2 cup grated cheese over mixture.

    Refrigerate at least 1 hour before baking or fix the day before.

    Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until mixture starts to bubble.

    Bake uncovered.
