Turkey Burger Sliders

- 2 pounds Lean Ground Turkey
- 1/2 cups Onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cups Crimini Mushrooms, Finely Chopped
- 1/4 cups Barbecue Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Cajun Or Creole Seasoning
- 1/2 cups Light Mayonnaise
- 2 Tablespoons Sriracha Hot Sauce, Or To Taste
- 1 package Potato Dinner Rolls, 24 Count
- 12 slices Smoked Gouda Cheese
Directions

1In a large mixing bowl combine ground turkey, onion, mushrooms, barbecue sauce and seasoning.

2Mix well with your hands till completely combined.

3Form into 24 balls that are about the size of golf balls.

4Coat a stovetop griddle or large frying pan with cooking spray.

5Place the pan over over medium heat.

6Flatten meatballs with the palms of your hands as you place them on the griddle.

7Cook for several minutes on each side until cooked through (should take less than 5 minutes per side).

8Cook in batches, transferring the cooked burgers to paper towels to absorb any excess grease.

9In a small mixing bowl combine the light mayonnaise and Sriracha sauce.

10Mix well.

11Cut the dinner rolls in half horizontally.

12To assemble sliders, coat the bottom half of each dinner roll with Sriracha mayonnaise.

13Place a turkey burger on top and then add 2 quarter slices of smoked gouda cheese.

14Place top half of dinner roll on top and place assembled slider on a 12 x 17 rimmed baking sheet.

15Assemble remaining sliders.

16Bake at 350 degrees F for 10 to 12 minutes or until cheese is melted and tops of rolls are lightly toasted.

17Make ahead method: Assemble sliders and place them on a rimmed baking sheet.

18Wrap the sheet well with plastic wrap and store in refrigerator until ready to bake.

19You can store these for up to 8 hours.

20You may need to bake them for an additional 5 to 10 minutes if they are cold when going into oven.
