Turkey Spaghetti Bake

- 1 pound Dry Spaghetti
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil, Divided
- 1 whole Medium Yellow Onion, Diced
- 3 cloves Garlic, Minced
- 1 pound Ground Turkey
- 3/4 teaspoons Kosher Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Black Pepper
- 24 ounces, fluid Tomato Sauce, Canned
- 1 Tablespoon Dried Oregano
- 2 teaspoons Dried Basil
- 1 teaspoon Dried Marjoram
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1/2 teaspoons Red Pepper Flakes
- 1/2 teaspoons Chili Powder
- 1/2 cups Parmesan Cheese, Grated
- 1/2 cups Unsalted Butter, Melted And Cooled
- 1 whole Egg, Beaten
- 6 ounces, weight Fresh Mozzarella, Sliced
- 2 Tablespoons Fresh Parsley, Chopped
Directions

1Preheat your oven to 375 F and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

2Set aside.

3Cook your spaghetti noodles per the package instructions for al dente.

4Then drain it in a colander, drizzle with a tablespoon of olive oil and toss to coat the noodles.

5Set aside.

6Heat the remaining tablespoon of olive oil in a large saute pan over medium heat.

7Add the onion and cook until tender, about 4-5 minutes.

8Add the garlic and cook for another minute.

9Add the ground turkey and a dash of salt and pepper.

10Break up the ground turkey with a wooden spoon as it heats up.

11Cook until cooked through, approximately 6-7 minutes.

12While your turkey is cooking, prepare you tomato sauce.

13In a large saucepan, add the canned tomato sauce, oregano, basil, marjoram, garlic powder, red pepper flakes and chili powder.

14Sprinkle with salt and pepper and stir the ingredients to combine.

15Heat over medium heat until the sauce is hot.

16Once hot, gently pour the tomato sauce into the saute pan with the turkey.

17Stir to combine, lower the heat to medium low and cook for 10-15 minutes.

18In a large bowl, whisk together the Parmesan cheese, butter and egg.

19Add the cooked spaghetti noodles into the mixture and toss to evenly coat.

20Taking about half of the spaghetti mixture, place into your prepared baking dish.

21Spread to evenly distribute.

22Pour about half of the tomato sauce/turkey mixture on top of the spaghetti and top that with half of your slices of mozzarella.

23Repeat these steps once more, finishing with the sliced mozzarella.

24Cover the dish with a sheet of foil and bake for 40 minutes.

25Remove the cover and cook for an additional 12-15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and just starting to brown.

26Remove from oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
