Ingredients

  • 2 lb. turnips
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 3 whole eggs, well beaten
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • cracker crumbs
  • Parmesan cheese

Directions

    Cook first three ingredients together until tender.

    Drain and mash.

    Add next four ingredients; stir together and place in buttered casserole.

    Top with cracker crumbs and Parmesan cheese. Bake at 350° for 1/2 hour or until firm.
