- 1 lb. pork meat, cut in pieces
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 c. onions, chopped
- 1/2 c. celery, chopped
- 1/2 c. bell pepper, chopped
- 6 large turnips, cut in pieces
- 3 Tbsp. oil
- 1/4 c. onion tops, chopped
- 1/4 c. parsley, chopped
- 4 c. water
Directions

1Brown pork in oil; remove.

2Add flour to oil for roux.

3Add water, seasonings and pork.

4Cook on low fire for one hour.

5Add turnips and cook for one-half hour.

6Add onion tops and parsley. Serve over rice.
