- 3/4 c. melted margarine or butter
- 1 bag Kraft caramels
- 1 German chocolate cake mix
- 2/3 c. evaporated milk
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 (12 oz.) bag chocolate chips
Directions

1Combine cake mix with 1/3 cup evaporated milk and margarine. Add pecans. Press half of the mixture into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

2Bake at 350° for 6 minutes.

3Melt caramels with 1/3 cup evaporated milk.

4Drop chocolate chips evenly

5over hot cake. Then spread melted caramels over chocolate chips.

6Crumble remaining cake mixture on top.

7Return to oven and continue baking an additional 15 to 18 minutes.
