  • 1 box German chocolate cake mix (or make your own from scratch)
  • 1 (14 oz.) bag caramels
  • 1/2 c. evaporated milk
  • 1 1/2 sticks oleo or butter
  • 6 oz. milk chocolate chips
  • 1 c. chopped Planters cocktail peanuts

Directions

    Mix cake according to directions.

    Grease and flour 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Use half of cake mixture and bake for 15 minutes at 350°. When done, add chocolate chips, chopped peanuts and caramel mixture.

    Then cover with remaining batter and bake for 20 minutes or until done.
