- 1 German chocolate cake mix
- 6 oz. can condensed milk
- 14 oz. bag caramels
- 2/3 c. butter or oleo
- 1/2 c. chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 c. pecans
Directions

1Prepare cake as directed. Pour half of batter in greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake 20 minutes at 350°. Melt caramels with butter and condensed milk. Pour over cake and sprinkle with chocolate chips and pecans. Pour rest of batter on top and bake another 20 minutes at 350°.
