- 1 German chocolate cake mix
- 3/4 c. melted butter
- 2/3 c. light cream
- 1 1/4 c. chocolate chips
- 1 c. nuts
- 14 oz. caramels
- 1/3 c. light cream
Directions

1Mix together cake mix, melted butter and light cream.

2Bake 1/2 this batter for 10 to 12 minutes.

3Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts.

4Pour over caramels and 1/3 cup light cream.

5Melt caramels with cream, stir thoroughly.

6Add 2 tablespoons light cream to remaining batter.

7Carefully spread rest of batter over caramel mixture.

8Bake 15 to 18 minutes.

9Do not overbake.

10It should be moist.
