Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. Kraft caramels
  • 1 can Eagle Brand milk
  • 3 c. pecans
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolates or milk chocolate
  • 1/2 bar paraffin wax

Directions

    Melt first two ingredients in top of double boiler.

    Add 3 cups chopped or broken pecans.
  3. 3
    Spoon out on greased cookie sheet. Put in freezer until hard or overnight.

    Melt chocolate and wax in double boiler.
  5. 5
    Dip candy in mixture using tongs.
  6. 6
    Place on wax paper to set up.

    Do not use foil because the candy will stick to it.

    When taking from freezer to dip in chocolate, wait only until you can stick a toothpick in it and then dip in chocolate.
