- 2 c. pecan halves
- 1 1/3 c. whipped cream
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 1/3 c. milk
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate
Directions

1Butter 2 large nonstick cooking sheets.

2Arrange pecan halves in clusters resembling turtles.

3Combine cream, sugar, corn syrup, milk and butter in saucepan.

4Stir on low heat until sugar dissolves.

5Increase heat to high and boil without stirring until mixture turns golden, bubbles thickly and candy thermometer registers 234°, swirling pan occasionally, about 15 minutes. Remove from heat.

6Stir in vanilla.

7Drop 1 tablespoon caramel onto each pecan cluster.

8Melt chocolate in double boiler. Drizzle 1 tablespoon chocolate onto each candy.

9Chill about 30 minutes.
