- 1 potato per person
- olive oil
- 1 clove garlic per potato
- salt
Directions

1Slice the potatoes thinly.

2Add olive oil (1/8 cup) to a heated nonstick frying pan.

3Add crushed garlic to pan along with the potatoes.

4Make sure the oil in the pan is adequate to coat the potatoes.

5Fry the potatoes until lightly browned on both sides.

6After lightly browned, remove the potatoes from the pan and let them cool completely.

7After cool, reheat pan; add additional oil (1/8 cup) and cook the potatoes again on both sides until nicely browned and tender.

8Salt to taste and serve.
