- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 stick soft margarine, not melted
- 1 egg
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 3/4 lb. powdered sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
Directions

1Mix by hand the cake mix, margarine and 1 egg.

2Pour mixture into 9 x 13-inch pan.

3Scatter pecans over mixture and press.

4Mix together cream cheese, 2 eggs, powdered sugar and vanilla.

5Fold in chocolate chips and pour over mixture

6on top of other layer. Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes, until center is golden brown. Cut into squares when cool.
