Uncooked Fruit Cake

  • 1 lb. graham crackers
  • 1 box (15 oz.) seedless raisins
  • 2 c. pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 lb. butter or oleo
  • 2 boxes marshmallows (50 large)
  • 1 small bottle maraschino cherries and juice
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • candied orange slices (optional)

Directions

    Place butter in saucepan along with marshmallows, stir until completely dissolved.

    Add raisins, pecans, cherries and graham crackers; mix well.

    (Your hands work wonderfully.)

    Add cherry juice and vanilla and complete mixing.

    Place all ingredients in a Bundt pan that has been sprayed with Pam.

    Garnish with pecans, cherries and raisins.

    Refrigerate until ready to serve, approximately 2 hours.

    Cake will keep up to 6 months in foil or tin.
