- 1 c. cooked tomatoes
- 3/4 c. cooked rice
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 large head cabbage
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1 c. thin milk
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Cook rice.

2Remove leaves from cabbage.

3Immerse them in hot water.

4Wipe dry.

5Mix meat and milk; add seasonings and rice. Make small rolls of meat.

6Wrap meat in cabbage leaves.

7Secure with toothpicks.

8Pack cabbage rolls in kettle; cover with a large can of tomatoes.

9Cook, covered, over slow heat for about 2 hours.
