- 2 lb. cabbage
- 1 lb. chopped meat
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. raw rice
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 10 oz. tomatoes
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 8 oz. tomato sauce
Directions

1Cut the cabbage into wedges and put in the bottom of large pot. Mix tomato sauce, vinegar, brown sugar and lemon juice together. Cover and cook over medium heat for 10 minutes.

2Mix meat, egg, salt and rice; make into balls.

3Put on cabbage mixture.

4Cover and cook for 2 1/2 hours on low flame.
