- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 1/3 c. coconut
- 1 cake mix
Directions

1Melt butter in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.

2Add water, then brown sugar.

3Mix in nuts and coconut.

4Spread evenly in pan.

5Mix cake mix as directed on package, then pour over mixture in pan. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes.

6Let stand 5 minutes so topping will begin to set.

7Turn out onto cookie sheet.
