• 180 g self-raising flour
• 12 teaspoon cinnamon
• 14 teaspoon nutmeg
• 90 g butter, at room temperature
• 180 g caster sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 2 eggs, at room temperature
• 60 g butter
• 120 g brown sugar
• 1 12 tablespoons golden syrup
• 2 -3 cooking apples
• 1 tablespoon lemon juice
