Upside-Down Pumpkin Pie

- 1 (29 oz.) can pumpkin
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. ginger
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
- 3 eggs, well beaten
- 1 box Pillsbury yellow cake mix with pudding
- 1 c. chopped walnuts
- 1 c. melted butter or oleo (I use one stick of each)
Directions

1In large bowl, mix first 7 ingredients.

2Pour into 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

3Sprinkle dry cake mix over pumpkin mixture.

4Drizzle melted butter over the mixture.

5Bake at 350° for 1 hour.

6Serve with Cool Whip or whipped cream.

7Freezes well.
