  • 1 vanilla bean, cut into 1-inch segments

Directions

    Place the sugar and the bean in a food processor fitted with a steel blade and process for 2 or 3 minutes, until the vanilla bean is ground.

    Transfer to an airtight container and let stand for one week.

    Sift before sprinkling freely on cookies.
