  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 1 whole Fresh Vanilla Bean

Directions

    Place the sugar in a sealed container.

    Split the vanilla bean in half lengthwise.

    Scrape the seeds out of the vanilla bean into the sugar.

    Place the vanilla bean in the container and seal.

    Set the container in a cool, dark place, such as your cupboard, and let sit for at least 1 week.

    Use in place of regular sugar.

    This recipe makes just 2 cups of sugar.

    Feel free to make a larger quantity, using 1 vanilla bean for every 2 cups of sugar.
